The Montserrat Massif is a unique and unparalleled place, made up of hundreds of needles and conglomerate walls that form a labyrinth where we will find thousands of routes to climb all year round. A geological marvel and a climbing paradise very close to Barcelona. A must visit for any nature lover.

The climbing options that this mountain offers us are endless, and many of its peaks can only be reached by climbing one of its routes. We can find from single pitch routes to routes that need 12 pitches or more to reach the top. We have dedicated a life climbing every corner of this mountain, so allow us to make you a proposal according to your level and experience.

Many of the activities that we propose start at the Montserrat monastery, a historically and culturally important site founded in 1025. From this point we have access to different climbing areas. One of them is the Gorros area, with an extraordinary quality of rock, with very good views from its peaks and with a wide variety of routes ideal for a first multi-pitch route, and also for more advanced climbers. A rock paradise about 45′ walk away from the monastery. We also have the option of taking the Sant Joan funicular (not included in the price). Some of the climbing routes we propose: Del Carles (Gorro Frigi), Magic Line (Gorro Frigi), 98 Octanos (Magdalena Superior), Sargantanes (Gorra Marinera).

From the monastery we also have access to the Sant Benet area, a reference area in the history of climbing in Spain where we can climbs beautiful non-fulled equiped trad lines or climb with some runouts. Some routes that we use to guide: Gomez-Xalmet (La Prenyada), Regular route (La Momia), Regular route (La Momieta), Esperó màgic (La Prenyada), Boy-Roca (Elefant).

Away from the monastery area we have other very interesting climbing areas. If you want to climb several long routes, between two and three pitches in a quiet and beautiful area, the Agulles area is your option.

If you prefer great challenges, in Montserrat you will also find walls with breathtaking views, like the Cavall Bernat, the Aeri wall or the Diables wall. One of the most iconic spur is the Cavall Bernat, and one of the most desired routes that we use to guide is the Punsola-Reniu.
